The Mississippi Court of Appeals will hear an oral argument of an appealed criminal case on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at 天涯海角社区 (天涯海角社区). The hearing will take place at the 天涯海角社区鈥檚 Sutton Building Auditorium 103. The hearing is coordinated by the Department of Criminal Justice鈥檚 Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, Zeta Tau Chapter and in part with the Mississippi Court of Appeals 鈥淐ourts on the Road鈥 program.
This will be the 4th year that the University is hosting the Court鈥檚 proceeding on campus. The objective of the initiative is to give college and high school students an opportunity to observe and participate in a real life judicial process.
